National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur)

The National Institute of Technology Durgapur, formerly known as Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, was established in 1960 by an Act of Parliament. It was one of the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges in India, designed to serve as a model institution for engineering education and foster national integration. Today, NIT Durgapur is a premier, fully-funded technical institution under the Government of India, managed by an autonomous Board of Governors.As a distinguished university, NIT Durgapur offers a variety of degree programs, including B.Tech., M.C.A., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.Tech., and Ph.D. It provides education across diverse disciplines such as:
