The Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) was established in 1997, launching with four flagship programs: MBA, PGDCA, BBA, and CIC. Since its inception, the Center has made remarkable strides in expanding its offerings, increasing student enrollment, and enhancing the quality of its Self-Learning Material (SLM).

Over time, new programs have been introduced and some replaced to ensure a job-oriented curriculum that supports students in securing employment or advancing their careers while balancing work and study. Presently, the Directorate offers a diverse range of programs:

• 3 Undergraduate Programs
• 6 Postgraduate Programs
• 5 Diploma/Certificate Programs

These are delivered through the Open and Distance Learning Mode, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for students.

The Center organizes Personal Contact Programs (PCPs) for enrolled students. These sessions are led by faculty members from parent departments and program coordinators, providing an opportunity for interactive learning and addressing student queries. A well-equipped Computer Lab with internet access further supports the learning process.

To maintain industry relevance, the study material is meticulously prepared by domain specialists and updated regularly based on curriculum changes and market needs. Each program has dedicated teachers and coordinators to closely monitor student progress and offer guidance.

Affordable and Accessible Education

Understanding the financial challenges faced by some students, the Center offers affordable fee structures with the option to pay in half-yearly installments. Additionally, eligible students can benefit from the Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) provided by the Government of Haryana.

Innovations in Admissions

From the academic session 2015-16 onward, the Center adopted an online admission process to cater to students across India and abroad. This initiative simplifies enrollment and extends the reach of the programs to a global audience.

Programs Offered

The Center currently provides 16 job-oriented programs, including flagship offerings like the MBA and B.Com (Online Mode). These programs are recognized by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the University under the Open and Distance Learning Mode.
